When I first met Amber and Bill, they had a newspaper cutout about an upcoming beer fest they thought I would like to check out. From that moment on we shared a very special bond. After shooting their engagement session, we met up for gormet pizza and craft beer! I am blessed for having such fun, quirky and sincere newlyweds! Zipping around on golf carts, first looks under twisty trees, lots of laughs and some tears are all reasons why I love doing what I do. We couldn’t have asked for a more of a beautiful day to shoot Amber and Bill’s wedding at the beautiful, Old York Country Club in my hometown of Chesterfield, NJ. Cheers!

Bethlehem, PA is home of the world’s best vegan bakery and an engagement session, full of laughter and love with Cali and Jim. Before our shoot, we enjoyed some great local beer, while talking about where we can take amazing engagement photos. May I also add, that Triumph Brewery has a killer Double IPA?! Cali and Jim decided on Lehigh University, because of memories together back in college and quite possibly because, Lehigh reminds them of their favorite HBO serious, Game of Thrones! So, get comfy with your tankard of ale or goblet of red, and check out some highlights from our time with these two lovers! 🙂
What can I say? Before I decided to start a wedding photography business, I worked with Paulina for about 6 years. We became very good friends in the office. I finally met Steve, two and half years ago, at my own wedding. When the happy couple asked me to document their day, the anticipation immediately set in. We exchanged ideas on several occasions, but they still wanted me to do my own thing. When February 13th came, it was cold – like record breaking cold! That didn’t stop these winter loving, eskimo kissing, snow shoeing, love birds from exploring the grounds of the Cairnwood Estate, to see what kind of moments we could make happen. Now relax, with a warm cup of joe, in your fuzzy socks and check out highlights from Paulina and Steve’s magical day!

This is one of those weddings I could not wait to blog. As the saying goes, “there’s a first time for everything” – Mirna and Fouad’s Egyptian wedding was definitely one for the books! After spending time with the beautiful couple during their engagement session, I knew immediately their wedding day was going to be one of a kind. For the first time in my years of shooting weddings, the coptic ceremony had a very unique and high energy. IPads skyping from 5,500 miles away for family that couldn’t be there, to crowds of loved ones pushing up to the front of the alter. To say the least, it was a photojournalist’s dream! The ceremony was just a warm up. Once Mirna and Fouad made their epic entrance as newly weds, a circle formed from their first dance until the end of the night!
After years of mountain biking at Wharton State Forest, I had the opportunity to finally shoot an engagement session in a little gem of the forest, called Batsto Village! But, this was not your typical engagement session. We just so happened to slip in some family photos too! Cori and Evan are one of those couples that everyone is jealous of – young, good-looking, and proud to have a very cute son, Carter! For the record, Carter is the coolest little man I’ve ever met! Cori and Evan helped me create some great moments of their alone time as well. We walked parts of the village that I have never discovered, like old grist mills, lakes and historical log cabins. Needless to say, we had some beautiful backdrops and fantastic light, to make great photographs!
Since meeting with Meg and Paul for their New York engagement session, I knew that their story was going to be one to cherish. When their intimate Ho-Ho-Kus New Jersey wedding finally approached, we were all excited to anticipate the fun, emotional and beautiful photos to follow. North Jersey is very special to me. Everything from beautiful landscapes and fun escapes to bed and breakfasts with my wife and I. The Ho-Ho-Kus Tavern was a good example of a hidden gem and also very special to Meg and Paul!
Every now and then, we get a chance to photograph in the Big Apple. Meaghan and Paul were a perfect fit for a New York City engagement session. We started at their cute apartment in the Upper West Side, followed by nice walk to Carl Schurz Park. It was so hot, that local New Yorkers were spread across the park in the shade, laying in their bathing suits. It was much like a concrete beach party! But the heat wave couldn’t stop us. We continued to stretch our legs around this beautiful city. Finally, Meg and Paul were excited to wrap things up at their favorite bourbon bar in the city – Bondurants!
We met Jessica and Steve at Skylands Manor in Ringwood, NJ, for an engagement, 1 year anniversary, and cake topper session – combined in one. The grounds at Skyland Manor are beautiful. Sections of large gardens and small ponds, this was definitely one of our favorite spots to shoot at this season. We soon hopped in our cars and met at Jessica’s parents house. This is where things got pretty interesting. We even had a little furry friend in a tuxedo, watch as they toasted and got messy with their wedding cake and champagne! Check out some of the timeless moments we shared 🙂
Mary and Randy’s engagement session was special for both them as a couple and me as their documentary photographer. Randy has been a close friend of mine for almost 10 years. When they contacted me with their news and wanting me to photograph them, I immediately was excited for it. Lambertville, NJ is a beautiful little town, across the river from Historic New Hope, PA. With local coffee, artsy side streets and the Delaware-Raritan Canal, this is a photographers dream to shoot here. Check out some of our favorites from Mary and Randy’s Engagement session 🙂
